Rhyl Promenade, Rhyl, UK

Rhyl Promenade isn't the park name really but seems to be the best way to describe to describe the cluster of amusements on Rhyl Promenade.

The park is aimed largely at young children. Almost all of the attraction are on the tame end of the spectrum with low or no height restrictions. Tokens for rides are £1.50 each.

The park is tidy and pleasant. It also looks more like a permenant attraction rather than a travelling fair. I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food through that is available from local shops rather than park franchised stores.

Glance at the Park

The park isn't split into zones, it's just a cluster of childrens rides. The highlight of these is the Nessi coaster. This is exactly the same as the Nessi rollercoaster at Ocean Beach down the road. The only difference is that Ocean Beach's version is 50p cheaper. Good for children but it won't satisfy any thrillseekers. The rest of the park is a fairly standard fare of childrens rides. You'll find a car ride, mini chair-o-plane and a carousel amoung others. There is also an observation tower nearby.
